Uses / Indications:

Stazonex 1mg Tablet is used in the treatment of breast cancer. It is used with other treatments, such as surgery or radiation, to treat breast cancer in women who have attained menopause.

Pregnancy interaction:

Stazonex 1mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Your doctor has prescribed Stazonex to treat breast cancer. Stazonex lowers estrogen production in your body and reduces the growth of hormone-sensitive tumours. Stazonex can be taken with food or on an empty stomach with a glass of water or juice. Nausea (upset stomach) and hot flashes (sudden sweating and feelings of warmth) may occur on starting treatment with Stazonex but should go away with time. If nausea is bothersome, take it after meal. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible if it is within 12 hours of the missed dose. If it is more than 12 hours, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule.
