Itbor 200mg Capsule is used in the treatment of fungal infections. It is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth or vagina (thrush), skin and other parts of the body such as finger and toenails.

Itbor 200mg Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Your doctor has prescribed Itbor to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take it with any heartburn medications - especially proton pump inhibitors and H2 blockers. Requires an acidic pH for absorption. Hence, take it with a full meal for best results. Notify your doctor if you have taken steroids recently.

However, interactions can occur. Please consult your doctor if you are asked to take Itbor and you are already taking oral contraceptives.|Does Itbor treat ringworm (dermatophytoses)? : Yes, Itbor is used to treat ringworm (known as dermatophytoses e.g. tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, tinea manuum).|Does Itbor cause an increase in blood pressure? : An increase in blood pressure has been seen with Itbor in some studies. However, this is not a very common side effect. Please consult your doctor in case you have a history of high blood pressure or you are experiencing high blood pressure after taking Itbor.|Does Itbor cause erectile dysfunction? : Yes, Itbor can rarely cause erectile dysfunction (erection problems). Please consult your doctor if you experience this problem.|Does Itbor cause weight gain? : Weight gain has not been reported as an adverse effect with Itbor. However, if you experience unexpected weight gain with Itbor, this could be an indication of an underlying heart problem. It is indicated for the treatment of oropharyngeal candidasis.|Does Itbor work for nail fungus (dermatophytoses)? : Yes, Itbor does work for the nail fungus known as dermatophytoses (tinea unguium). Consult your doctor before starting Itbor for any infection and you must take the medicine for as long as it is prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop the medicine until told by your doctor.|Does Itbor have penicillin in it? : No, Itbor does not have penicillin in it.|Does Itbor make you tired? : Itbor does not make you tired. In case you feel very tired while taking Itbor, please talk to your doctor immediately as it may be due to an underlying liver problem or a heart condition with fluids in your lungs.|Can I take Itbor with aspirin? : There are no clinically observed drug interactions between Itbor when taken with aspirin.
