Glynase 5mg Tablet is used to treat type II diabetes. It is used in conjunction with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar management in people with type 2 diabetes.
Pregnancy interaction:
Glynase 5mg Tablet may be dangerous to take when pregnant. Animal research have revealed negative effects on the fetus, but there have been few human investigations. Despite the risks, the advantages of usage in pregnant women may be acceptable. Please visit a doctor.

Can you take glipizide with sulfa allergy? : You can take glipizide if you are not allergic to glipizide or drugs from the same class i.e. sulphonylureas, sulphonamides or to any ingredients of the glipizide table. Glipizide is not contraindicated in patient with sulfa allergy.|Can you take glipizide with or without metformin? : You can take glipizide with or without metformin. However, always follow doctor's advice regarding its use.|Can I take glipizide with insulin? : Glynase, when used with insulin, can help to control high blood sugar levels. Taking them together can help to lower the dose of insulin but there could also be an increased risk of hypoglycemia. Dose of these medicines may need to be adjusted along with regular blood sugar level monitoring.|Can I take glipizide with levothyroxine? : When levothyroxine is taken with glipizide, it may compromise the blood sugar controlling effect of glipizide.
