Fluvir 75mg Tablet is used in the treatment and prevention of influenza (flu). It is also used in the treatment of H1N1 influenza (Swine flu). It would be advised by your doctor when you have symptoms of influenza (flu) or if there is influenza virus outbreak in your community.

Pregnancy interaction:

Fluvir 75mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Always take the complete course of treatment, as advised by your doctor even if you feel better. Fluvir is not a vaccine. It treats infection or prevents the flu virus from spreading. Fluvir will not change the effectiveness of a flu vaccine, and you might be prescribed both by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Fluvir 75mg Tablet is a neuraminidase inhibitor. It stops the spread of influenza (flu) virus in the body and helps in fast relief from influenza (flu) symptoms like a stuffy or a runny nose, sore throat, cough, muscle or joint aches, tiredness, headache, fever, and chills.
