How it works:

The tablet Cavmox-CV Duos is an antibiotic. It contains two active ingredients: clavulanic acid and amoxycillin. Amoxycillin functions by inhibiting the development of the bacterial cell wall, which is necessary for the bacteria to survive. On the other hand, the unique function of clavulanic acid is to block beta-lactamase, an enzyme that resistant bacteria manufacture.
