How to use:

This medication is intended for external use only. Use it at the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Before using, double-check the directions on the label. Clean and dry the afflicted area, then apply the cream. Wash your hands after application, unless they are the affected region.

How it works:

Siloderm Mixi Cream consists of three medications: beclometasone topical, clotrimazole topical, and gentamicin topical. Beclometasone Topical is a steroid medication. It inhibits the synthesis of chemical messengers known as prostaglandins, which cause the skin to become red, puffy, and itchy. Clotrimazole Topical is an antifungal that prevents fungus from building their own protective covering. Gentamicin Topical is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting the synthesis of key proteins required by bacteria to perform crucial tasks.
